DAP Beaufighter Mk 21 RAAF - 1/72 - Hasegawa

Hi there, My last project, a Royal Australian Air Force Beaufighter Mk21. It is the 1/72 scale kit from Hasegawa, built out-of-the-box. Just some painting/weathering laboratory to me. I did try a lot of new techniques: post-shading, pastels, inks, etc. The trick here was to make a plain colored AC look interesting - that's far from perfect but I like what I did. Thx for reading. Bf-109 E3 - 1/48 Hasegawa - Hans Hahn

My last project, a 109 piloted by Hans Hahn. Wanted things simple, so just build it OOB with only a few scratched thingies. I only used guns from Master Models. The Hasegawa is getting kind of old with quite some flash. I was a bit disappointed on this point. Paint used: Gunze, Xtracrylics + Citadel

Below, 2 pictures of the 1000 HP Hispano-Suiza 12 Y-51, that equipped the C-3603, but also the M.S. 406 1,245 hp Saurer YS-2 (a more powerful Swiss development of the Hispano-Suiza 12Y-51) , that equipped the C-3604:

D-3801 Morane Saulnier MS 406 Walkaround

After the Bf-109 , here is a short walkaround of the Adolph Saurer AG license-built D-3801 Morane Saulnier MS-406 also exposed at the Swiss Airforce museum at Dubendorf (Switzerland). One advice, if you go in Switzerland say D-3801, not M.S. 406 or you will have to handle a diplomatic issue  - n'est ce pas GĂ©rard :) Below are a few pictures of the cockpit taken through the windows ... And finally, some pictures of the engine, a Hispano Suiza HS-51 12Y
